iPhone 5G Goes Live in Pakistan on Zong and Jazz Networks

iPhone 5G goes live in Pakistan on Zong and Jazz networks, enabling faster connectivity for supported devices in select cities.

Apple users in Pakistan have officially entered the next era of mobile connectivity as 5G support goes live on compatible iPhones across major telecom networks, including Zong and Jazz.

According to industry updates, both networks have enabled 5G connectivity for supported iPhone models in selected coverage areas, marking a major milestone in Pakistan’s digital infrastructure journey. The rollout allows users with compatible devices and updated iOS versions to experience high-speed, low-latency mobile internet.

The development follows Pakistan’s broader push toward commercial 5G deployment, with telecom operators gradually expanding next-generation network availability in major cities. Users in metropolitan areas such as Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi are among the first to experience improved connectivity speeds.

Experts note that iPhone users will need compatible devices—generally iPhone 12 series and above—and updated carrier settings to access 5G services on local networks. The activation is part of ongoing network testing and phased rollout strategies by telecom providers.

Zong has been actively expanding its 5G infrastructure through large-scale trials and early enablement programs, while Jazz continues strengthening its nationwide digital ecosystem to support next-generation connectivity services.

The launch of 5G on iPhones is expected to significantly improve user experience in areas such as video streaming, online gaming, cloud applications, and real-time communication. However, coverage is still limited and will expand gradually as infrastructure development progresses.

This milestone reflects Pakistan’s steady transition toward advanced mobile technologies and a more connected digital economy.
